This week for Top Ten Tuesday, the topic is as stated above, verbatim.  Surprisingly, I'm really not anticipating too many books for 2016.  Normally I've got a whole, lined up set-up of sticky notes on my desk reminding me when a new release is due soon.

It is mid-year and I've been tearing off one post-it note after another for releases in the first half of 2016... but now I only have three little notes left.  For the most part, it's probably because I've been so focused on some new-to-me authors and trying to finish up a bunch of series I'd already started and have already come to a close (either last year, the year before, or the year before that).

I haven't really been looking at any new 2016 releases.  And when I AM looking, nothing seems to appeal to me.

To be fair, my resources really cover more YA content, but lately I've been less enamored by YA books than usual, which would definitely explain why I haven't really been focused on new releases.  The 2016 books written by some of my favorite Romantic Suspense authors have already published their books, save for one or two.

So without any further rambling...

 

 

To be totally honest, there were two other books I'd been anticipating for 2016, but one of them (a Julie James contemporary) got pushed back to 2017, and so I will not be listing it here.  HOWEVER, another of my favorite romantic suspense authors will be publishing the next installment in her ongoing Tracers series.  But according to resources I'm not entirely sure when the book will be coming out--some places say December of 2016, others are saying January 2017.

What books is everyone else looking forward to for the rest of the year?
